Today Paul and I are sharing a short (and fun) episode with some updates about the show!
Here is a link to the survey I mention in the show! We'd love to hear from you!
The world of photography is larger than most people think. And many photographers start out taking any and every type of shoot and client they can get. As you grow in your skill and expertise, it's very normal to begin niching down and saying no to things you used to shoot.
Don't let other people box you in when it comes to your business. Go ahead and pursue different things until you find the niche that clicks!
The best photographers are known for their photos and their style. You know which images are Katelyn James and which ones are not. This is because of a combination of how she shoots and how she edits.
Knowing how you want the end product to look will determine the settings you need to use while shooting and will help in the editing process.
It may seem crazy to think that you could shoot 40 weddings a year and actually be caught up on all of them, but Brian and Katrina believe in systems to get the job done. They also want their couples to feel fully supported from the start and continue to build their relationships throughout the process.
In order to shoot 40 weddings, they've divided tasks, outsourced and continued to fine tune all of their processes. They also have two days per week dedicated to their own family which helps keep their sanity in tact. Which benefits everyone involved.
We don't know anyone who hates podcasts. In fact, everyone we've talked to about podcasts now loves them.
Podcasting is still in the infancy stage and will only grow from here. You can connect with the hosts deeper than by reading their blogs because you get to hear their voices and opinions in real time.
